8. Hard Is The New Medium

Maybe you're one of those damage-loving psychopaths who immediately set their games to the highest difficulty on the first run. If so, you'll already be awash in Anthem's steady rollout of loot, but for the rest of us, it's an incredibly easy game even on Medium.

Difficulty determines loot rarity too, so crank the setting to Hard from the get-go.

Anthem's upper tiers mean more bullets per enemy, bosses that actually require tactics like Primers/Detonators or use of cover, and an incentive to manage your cooldowns instead of just going all-out for 10 minutes.

Until Bioware tweak the difficulty (though there are Grand Master options available later on) just play on Hard. It's a far more satisfying feel compared to the competition.
