Anthem 2.0 Wishlist: 8 Ways To Fix The Game

4. Bug Fixes & Shorter Load Times

One of the biggest reasons for Anthem's failed launch was the game just didn't work consistently. Alpha access was restricted to players who purchased the Legion of Dawn Edition or an EA Access subscription which divided the player base early.

Unfortunately, these players became glorified beta testers once they realized the game was still unstable. Servers were vastly overloaded which led to players enduring extremely long queues, frame rate drops and constantly getting kicked out of the game.

Loading screens were another large complaint as players were forced to sit through multiple screens just to play a mission . This became more apparent as players discovered the tether system forced them to stay within a certain distance from each other or they would have to endure another screen.

There were even reports of the game bricking PS4s which only added fuel to the fire.

Now, things have drastically improved, but still aren't perfect. Multiple patches and updates have been put out to improve the game. Crashes and long load times still occasionally occur, but are far less common than what they were.

All of these changes show that there were some improvements made, but there's still work to be done.
