1. Becoming The Bosses
Finally! This is what you've been waiting for. Why should you be excited for Arkham Origin's multiplayer mode? Because you get to take control of the various gang leaders! That's why! Players from each gang will have the chance to unlock their leader as a playable character. After completing several challenges and getting a considerably high number of points, Joker and Bane will stop providing weapons from the sidelines and will become fully-controlable characters that will give their team the upper hand on the battlefield. The matches in Arkham Origins' multiplayer mode are meant to last for quite a while and, only after a good amount of time has passed, the leaders will appear. Players (who've earned it) can then return to their base and jump into the purple suit of the clown prince of crime or become the venom-enraged villain who broke the Bat. Gameplay is different with these characters in more ways than one. Their weapons, armor, and specials are all exclusive to their person. Also, these players will have access to even more specials, such as the Joker's Ace of Spades (which is an over-powered handgun that will take down anyone who stands in it's path). While Joker uses his guns, Bane sticks to brute force and uses his muscles to his advantage. Although only The Joker and Bane have been confirmed, we have good reason to believe that other gangs will fight each other in different maps. If we get to play in these gangs, we will certainly be able to control their leaders. Black Mask, Two-Face, Anarky and Penguin are all possibilities although we will most likely get a gang led by a woman to even out this all-male cast. Talia al-Ghul and Poison Ivy are both great choices to fill this role, but I would like to see a Harley Quinn gang most of all. It hasn't been revealed whether these characters will be playable outside of the multiplayer mode (challenge maps/open world), but, with Deathstroke being playable in challenge maps, there is hope for these characters as well. From what we've seen of it, the multiplayer looks great and is a perfect fit in the Arkhamverse. Although there will only be one type of match to play, I doubt that players will get tired of it anytime soon, especially with all of the extras and unlockables that will take days upon days for us gamers to get. Arkham Origin's multiplayer seems like a a perfect addition to an already great looking game.
