Assassin's Creed 2020: 8 Improvements Fans Need To See
7. Reduce The Number Of Synchronisation Viewpoints
A small qualm, but a qualm nonetheless.
If you're one of the more lazy players of Assassin's Creed, like us, then you probably will have selected the guided mode at the start of the game, for a more traditionally game-y experience, in which you are given the location of your objectives directly, rather than locating them yourself.
In this case, you also probably rely heavily on the fast travel system, and while there is no doubt the quicker pace of transit it offers is necessary, the number of viewpoints available is really quite ridiculous.
The vast amount of locations you have to synchronise isn't a problem in itself, it's more the fact that using them really reduces the hours actually playing the game, which, while it may sound contradictory seeing as we're already playing the mode that offers a faster completion time, somewhat takes away from the time and effort put into creating the world, and ultimately creates a more hollow gameplay experience.
