7. Guns
As an Assassin, we have already had accesses to a gun, the wrist-mounted deadly weapon that we all loved, but it's not a real "gun". In AC3, gamers will have two types of guns at their disposal, flint-lock pistols and a musket. It is uncertain weather or not the hidden gun will return in this game, but with all the new found firepower, I don't think it will be missed. Since Connor has two pistols, he can use them in unison and take out two enemies at once. This feature will definitely help gamers fight the massive amounts of enemies in this game. The pistols are conveniently kept behind Connor's waist for easy access. The musket, however, will not be so easy to get to. It seems that gamers can pick up the musket and use it, but not store it or keep it equipped. It will act as the spears and hammers in AC2. It also seems that in the gameplay videos we will only get to fire one shot with the musket before we automatically drop it. Although the musket itself might not be considered a true "weapon" since it it seems we won't have full access to it, it will come in handy for quick combos and one-shot-kills.
