3. Strategic Kills Are More Fun Than Firing A Machine Gun
This might be more a personal preference (and make me sound kinda psychotic in the process) but I get so much more satisfaction out of stalking my victim, calculating the best, and cleanest way to off him while drawing the minimal amount of attention. And when the coast is clear, sneak up behind him, swiftly slit his throat, cover his mouth so he doesnt make a sound then hide the body in some bushes. Theres a degree of technique involved in such a thing. Assassins Creed has always featured these clean, well-calculated kills in droves, and we can fully expect them to make a return. Its also the reason I have a lot of time for Hitman and Splinter Cell. Now compare that to Call of Duty. Go in guns blazing shooting anything that moves, toss a few grenades and hope for the best. Theres no skill in that. Is it too much to ask to have a bit of pride and honour in your kills?
