Assassin's Creed 3: 8 Reasons To Be Excited

4. Arrivederci Ezio

Ezio started off as a thoroughly likeable character. With enough swagger to make The Rolling Stones look like wallflowers and the ability to kick seven shades of crap out of anyone who stepped to him, Ezio was a certified badass, men wanted to be him, women wanted to be with him. Three games later however I'm sick of the smooth talking lothario. Thankfully Ezio is understandably absent from AC3. Picking up 200 years after the previous games AC3 lands us squarely in the boots of Connor Kenway, a half-English, half-Mohawk assassin. I can't wait to get to grips with this tomahawk wielding hardman. Connor's story spans 30 years from 1753 to 1783 taking us all the way through the bloody American Revolution from beginning to end. While all of the promo content we've seen so far shows Connor relentlessly murdering the British we've been assured that we'll be fighting the nefarious Templars wherever their allegiance may lie. With a whole new set of skills and weapons available for us to play with it looks like playing as Connor is going to be an absolute blast.
