2. Connor Is More Relatable
A rich young man who has a way with the ladies; originally a troublemaker who became a man of the people. A young man who is righteous in every sense of the word and humble at the same time; at times naive, but nevertheless very passionate and is also a man of the people. Which one sounds more like you? Or, which one sounds easier to be like? A lot of people claim they've connected with Ezio more than Connor. We must have played completely different games or live two completely different lives because this is definitely not the case for me. The only time I expressed feelings for Ezio was at the end of Revelations. Even that more-so was the fact I spent three games with the character opposed to truly feeling sad at his ending. Basically, I was more invested and interested in Ezio's story than Ezio. For Connor I was interested in his story and Connor himself. To be fair, part of this has to do with the lack of thought-provoking themes in the Ezio trilogy but even without that Connor is more relatable, therefore more interesting. Ignoring Connor's traits, he is more likable because he doesn't get everything he wants. By the end of the game, it is clear his victory is bittersweet and how can you not feel more connected when Connor's life is just like most at it's core? But there is one more reason why Connor has Ezio beat.
