Assassin's Creed 4: 10 Amazing Hidden Easter Eggs & Secrets You Need To Find

2. Far Cry 3 Reference

Ocelot This is another tiny reference hidden away in the database, but it's a clever little nod that deserves mention here. Perhaps paying homage to the fact that Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 played in helping inform the development of Black Flag (in balance and design, and also in the actual experience of development) Ubisoft have added in the briefest of Far Cry 3 references. There are obviously a lot of similarities in the gameplay, including the animal hunting of course, but it is in the modern day setting of Abstergo where you can read database entries on all of the animals in the game. Hidden in the entry for the Ocelot, among a comical exchange about the animal's lack of threat, one of the respondents suggests putting something genuinely threatening in the jungles, such as tigers or cassowaries - both staples of Far Cry 3 - to which someone else responds "Please no, I beg of you!"
