Now I'm not saying that Assassin's Creed III suffered a lack of scale, not in the slightest; of course you'll already know that size wise, it's the biggest game in the series so far (although size isn't everything...right?) However, with that being said, it was still
relatively small, at least when compared with some of the other open world sandbox games on the market like GTA for example. Each AC title has grown in size and scope, with III easily representing the largest, but I don't see why it has to stop or even slow down there. I'd love to see an even larger open world in AC IV, perhaps with the inclusion of a third city and an even greater wilderness in between them. Hell, if we're talking about a modern day setting for AC IV, I don't see why it can't include drivable vehicles and maybe one super-large city, which would simultaneously break the franchise away from its classic formula a little
and provide potentially the meatiest AC game we've ever seen. Whatever does end up happening in Assassin's Creed IV one thing is for sure; without a sense of progression to the scale, aren't we effectively at a stand-still?
