Assassin's Creed: Dynasty - 10 Things We Want To See
1. Don't Focus On Templars Vs. Assassins
One of the biggest reasons that Origins' story worked is because it didn't focus on the same tropes that have been plaguing previous Assassin's Creeds. Putting the series' story on the back burner and simply focusing on telling a good story is certainly the way to go.
Be completely honest with yourself. Since Desmond's death in Assassin's Creed 3, have you really cared about the Assassin's vs. Templars plotline? Desmond was one of the best aspects of that story as seeing someone introduced into the Assassin's world and become one themselves was extremely satisfying.
Ever since Ubisoft removed Desmond, they've struggled to make the mainline story of the Assassin's versus the Templars feel interesting at all. It's always the same story, with the exact same outcome (or lack thereof).
Origins succeeded on this point by barely referencing it at all. Granted, it couldn't really focus on this because it introduces the concepts altogether, but that's what makes it interesting.
If Dynasty wants to succeed, it should ditch the plot. At least until it can actually be focused on properly.
