Assassin's Creed: Ranking The Assassins From Worst To Best

4. Connor / Ratonhnhaké:ton

Assassins Creed Iii 1 On the other side of the spectrum we have Connor, who isn€™t exactly the most favored Assassin- and rightfully so- but the fact that he is a vessel for a story revolving around American independence alleviates that. I won€™t deny that Connor constantly whined throughout Assassin€™s Creed 3 and was as sympathetic as a rock. Every 5 minutes he was questioning his allegiance to the Assassins, Templars, Americans, etc; examining who helps him the most. The setting alone though is able to mitigate Connor€™s personality shortcomings. As an American it€™s obvious I€™ve read about major historical events such as the Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere€™s Midnight Ride, and famous battles in Lexington and Concord; playing those timeless events however- as a freaking assassin to boot- is probably a personal transcendent moment in gaming for me. Connor also became the first assassin to not overly rely on the gimmick of the hidden blade. Sure, it€™s there and readily available for you to use but admit it, his Tomahawk was the real show-stealer. Assassins€™s Creed 3 was heavily criticized for the majority of its weapons being worthless but honestly, I intentionally stuck with the Tomahawk and loved every second of combat. Those counterattack executions are still sick!
