Once wielded by the legendary King Arthur Pendragon this great sword is truly a beast in every sense. It’s a chore to obtain though, having the player hunt down eleven tablets across all of England.

Three of the tablets are held by Zealots of the Ancient Order: Woden, Heike, and Hrothgar. The other eight can be found in the Cavern of Trials, Grime's Graves, Old Cellar, Wiccan's Cave, Red Lichen Cavern, Wocig, Deoraby Spar Cavern, and Santlache Mine. After collecting them all head to Myrddin's Cave in Hamtunscire. There you will underground where the sword awaits you; place the tablets and claim the blade.

Being a part of the Bear skill tree, it makes an excellent pairing with the Brigandine Armour but is still great no matter the armour you choose. The big draw of this mythical weapon is that all heavy finishers and critical hits landed blind all enemies around you; grab the Terror skill to really cut deep into your enemies.

Assassin’s Creed has always dived a little out of actual history and into the mythical. Having this weapon in the game really helps that sense of world-building and rewards exploration.
