Assassin's Creed Valhalla: 10 Early Secrets And How To Solve Them
6. The Inaccessible Door In Kjotve's Fortress
After sticking it to Kjotve and raiding his fortress you'll find yourself standing in front of a triangular homestead that hides a chest of wealth. Strangely enough, approaching the door doesn't notify you that it has been locked or barred, both of which have their own separate solutions we'll talk more about later. This makes the inaccessible door in Kjotve's Fortress a unique puzzle which, although not incredibly difficult to solve, sets a precedent for the rest of the game.
With far too much time spent running in circles and checking the slanted roof for an opening, you may be tempted to give up and call it a day. But believe it or not the answer to this frustrating puzzle is actually staring you right in the face. Take a moment to observe the front-end of the homestead and you'll see a reed surface just above its door. After readying yourself with bow in hand and taking aim at this surface you'll see your reticle change from white to red, showing that it can be broken. So shatter the surface with an arrow or torch and climb through the newly-made hole to claim your prize.
Since this is the first of many puzzles that require you to break something, add this method to your repertoire and keep an eye out for dodgy surfaces.
