Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - 10 Real-Life Viking Legends Who Should Appear

One of the most exciting of all the Scandinavian epics is Egil's Saga, the tale of a murderous, drunken, highly intelligent and exceptionally ugly warrior, poet and berserker. Detailing his feuds, wars, murders (the first when he was six and the last well into his eighties), love affairs and adventures, the reader is never quite sure whether they are meant to take Egil's side or not.

Modern historians have speculated that the accounts of his berserk rages and large, exceptionally tough head might indicate Paget's disease, which causes a thickening of the bones that can put pressure on the brain. Whatever the case, he was a fascinating character. If he doesn't make it into AC: V, he deserves a game all of his own!
