"Shaggy Breeches" is not perhaps the most badass nickname a Viking warrior could have but Ragnar didn't let that hold him back.

A legendary hero as well as a king, he successfully and repeatedly raided the British Isles in a campaign of violence that typifies the way we now think of the Vikings. He also married three times, had a whole bunch of famous sons, killed a giant serpent and was said to be "the largest and fairest of all men." Even his death was badass, rolling in agony in a pit filled with venomous snakes.

He's the sort of character they really should make a TV show about. So they did! Now let's hope he finds his way into a game too.
