Taking place in 9th century England, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla whisks players on an epic Viking adventure in which they’ll spend dozens of hours forging alliances and conquering kingdoms to carve a new home for Eivor and their friends.

Allowing players to fulfil their role as a fearsome and battle-hungry drengr is the core of Valhalla’s gameplay experience. Alongside sailing our own longship, engaging in both small and large skirmishes, and drinking all the mead we can, there’s also plenty of treasure out there that’s ripe for pillaging.

Golden dots litter the expansive map that encourage players to seek them out in search of wealth, supplies, and new equipment that Eivor can use to make his fight easier.

Unlike Origins and Odyssey, every weapon in Valhalla is unique. Providing its own stats and bonuses means that every combination offers new ways to play and allows players to find the right weapon for their preferred style. Therefore, tracking every piece of gear down is always worthwhile.

However, some weapons are much harder to obtain than others and require a lot of hard work to uncover. Being the best gear in the game, though, finding these secret weapons is something every player should do.
