Assassin's Creed: Victory - 10 Things It Must Learn From Black Flag

1. A Huge Sense Of Replay Value

As discussed throughout, replay value is key. Especially with the price of next-gen games, audiences expect more bang for their buck. An enthralling and complex story, of which Assassin€™s Creed often delivers in boatloads (pun intended), is no longer enough as there is a desire to be able to continue playing the game long after your final assassination. Black Flag had the advantage of sailing the high seas, plundering any ship in your way and exploring the Caribbean, providing hours of replay value. A tough act to follow, but a system AC Victory should try to incorporate. Furthermore, in AC Unity the multiplayer system has been improved tenfold and integrated into the main campaign, which is certainly a massive step in the right direction, but can still be built upon. Obviously, extra content can be offered through various DLCs, but Ubisoft must be careful to avoid putting all their eggs in that basket as not all gamers can afford or access such content. Therefore focus must also be placed on improving side-quests and activities within the core game that are actually new, exciting and evolve over time. Which features from previous Assassin€™s Creed games do you think need to be featured, or axed, to make sure AC Victory is a success? Discuss below!
