Assassin's Creed: Victory - 10 Things It Must Learn From Black Flag
9. Different Environments And Towns
Whilst the idea of exploring the cobbled, smokey streets of victorian London is a mouthwatering prospect, Victory must be careful to avoid leaving the gamer feeling trapped in one city. Although no one can deny that AC Unity was a truly beautiful game that portrayed Paris as a stunning parkour playground, it was still only one city - much like Rome in AC Brotherhood. Fans of the series have already had two instalments that were based predominately within one city, Black Flag offered a wide range of islands big and small that created a larger world to explore without becoming repetitive. Although Rome and Paris were fun to investigate and have the aspect of one section of the city feeling different and unique to the others, they are far bigger than London, thus had greater scope for exploration. Victory should try to incorporate other major British cities and towns contemporary to the Victorian era with a unique and relevant mode of travel to get to them, such sailing the various rivers and canals used for trade throughout the country during this time period.
Probably the only person to not like Halo.
Media studies student at Newcastle University, who is 'dangerously' sarcastic and borderline annoying. Enjoy!
