Assassin's Creed: Victory - 10 Things We Can't Wait To See

7. Whichever Historical Figures Will Feature

How awesome was Da Vinci's appearance in AC II? Having him as the Q to your Bond was a masterstroke, and opened up quite the potential for all the designs Leonardo was working on that - in real life - technology of the time or his own lack of resources couldn't bring to fruition. The options for Victorian England are pretty vast too - will we see Jack the Ripper cases pop up as something to be solved across certain parts of the city? Meet him in a super-shadowy alleyway as a way to flesh out a certain plot point, or would someone like Nikola Tesla be your go-to guy for armaments and special items? Ready at Dawn's abysmal shooter The Order: 1886 attempted to have Tesla as your weapons man, but all that amounted to when the game itself had about as much originality as a pair of shoes was a lightning gun and a napalm powder-douser you got to use for all of five minutes. Bending the rules of the time and allowing for things that feel just believable enough - like Da Vinci's pistol - sit perfectly with the idea that your assassin had some interaction with the biggest key figures of the time - and returning to the series' roots in this way would be a huge step in the right direction.
