1. No Order/Creed Logo - You're Playing As A Templar
After all of this, the iconic AC logo is nowhere to be seen on this character whatsoever so far; something that sets him apart from the vast majority of past protagonists - apart from one; Assassin's Creed: Rogue's renegade Templar Shay Cormac. Although AC III was a bit of a mess when it came to texture work, pop-in, general animation and overall necessity to do things like the Homestead missions, it did feature the 'How D'ya Like Them Apples?" achievement; one that popped when the player realised they'd been playing as a Templar the whole time. Even though last year's Rogue was completely swamped by the negative press around the franchise - and the fact Ubi were trying to release two full games in one year for maximum profit - the concept of pitting you against the Order across the campaign was a really awesome idea that flipped everything prior on its head. Perhaps in this time period the Assassin's have risen to power, with their code of conduct leading to some questionable decisions at the top of the pile? One surefire way to get people invested in a new AC game is to nail the story side of things again, especially the modern day aspect, and as Victorian London is recent enough to have any number of investigative documents and items viewable in the future - going between the two time periods with one common goal would be a huge return to form. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK_JGMSTI8U Is there anything else we missed?
