At the end of the day, this seems unlikely, but with consistent rumours about Spider-Man being sold back to Marvel through a suspicious tweet, it may yet become a possibility. While we've yet to see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man join up with Captain America, there seems to be a movement on the horizon making it at least theoretically possible. And what better way to start than by bringing Spider-Man into the huge Avengers video game? Spidey clearly won't be in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, but if things go right, he may get signed up to appear in the third film and the forthcoming video game. As far as the Marvel Cinematic Universe goes, it does feel a bit empty without the web-head swinging around. After all, storylines speculated to be happening on film feature Spidey prominently, leaving a slight gap in the narrative that feels difficult to fill. By adding Spidey to the Avengers game, you bring yourself another all-star player, which a game like this could always benefit from. Just for a moment, imagine Spidey teaming up with Thor and Hulk to take down some baddies, all the while with his trademark wit, making you smile the whole way. If you want an Avengers game done the absolute best way possible, it's simply gotta have the web-head. But now it's your turn.
