Batman: Arkham - 10 Rumours About The Future Of Rocksteady You Need To Know

1. Superman

Before Arkham Asylum, Batman had a pretty abysmal run of video games that could never capture the character. But you know which character has had even worse luck than the Caped Crusader? Superman.

And it's a shame, because as the first superhero, Superman deserves a game that captures his character. It's undoubtedly a challenge to make a Superman game that can do the character justice, while still remaining challenging and engaging for players.

However, Rocksteady proved with the Arkham series that they're not one to shy away from a challenge. And a Superman game has been rumored for some time, with potential character models even being leaked. Factor 5 and Brash were once working on a Superman game, but it fell through when the money ran out.

If any studio can do Superman justice, it's Rocksteady. And it's worth noting that no other DC character gets more Easter eggs in Arkham Knight than Superman. There are posters advertising Metropolis, Lex Luthor leaves Bruce Wayne a voicemail, LexCorp is all over the place, and thugs reference him, like saying the only thing they need is for that freak from Metropolis to show up, or one thug who says that he had money on Batman being a refugee from a dying alien world.

Could Rocksteady be developing a Superman game? We can only hope. Rocksteady already broke the Batman game curse. Now it's the Man of Steel's turn.
