Batman: Arkham - 10 Rumours About The Future Of Rocksteady You Need To Know

Rumors about Rocksteady working on a Justice League video game have been around ever since Arkham City came out. While it turns out that the third game they did for DC was another Batman game, Ginn's statements about the future could leave the door open for a Justice League game.

Yes, WB Games has their Injustice fighting game series, with the second coming out next year. And fighting games are fun, but it'd be great if some game could crack the superhero team formula. While games like Marvel Ultimate Alliance are fun, there's not a lot of variety to the gameplay.

If Rocksteady could do for superhero teams what they did for solo superheroes, it would be pretty groundbreaking for superhero games. Though there may not be enough time to get out a Justice League game in time to coincide with the movie, there should be enough to coordinate a release with the 2019 Justice League sequel.

I, for one, am real interested to see what Rocksteady would do with a superhero team. How would they balance all the different characters? What would the gameplay be like? Different characters for different purposes? Action RPG-esque team battles? Let's hope we find out sooner, rather than later.
