Batman: Arkham - 10 Rumours About The Future Of Rocksteady You Need To Know
4. Suicide Squad
One of the best aspects of Arkham Origins was undoubtedly the appearance of master assassin, Deathstroke. Not only was the boss fight against Batman perhaps the single best boss fight out of all four games in the series, but we were also treated to challenge maps that gave the character his own unique arsenal and movements.
But a plot thread that's been left dangling ever since, centres on the ending of Origins. Deathstroke is working out in his cell when none other than Amanda Waller turns up and invites him to join the Suicide Squad.
In the past, DC's Geoff Johns has even confirmed a Suicide Squad game, saying it was in development and that he was super excited. And with two secret DC games in development, it's very likely one of those could be Suicide Squad.
There are a lot of options as far as cast goes. Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Killer Croc have all been recurring characters in the Arkham series, and that gives you a pretty awesome roster to start with. The Penguin has also been a member of the Squad in the comics. Then you've got the Red Hood. With his military training, he could even take the Rick Flag role in the Squad.
This would all give the game a connection to the Arkham series, while allowing WB to do something new and different.
