4. Obscure Villains

With the Batman Arkham Games totalling four major instalments at this point and time, the roster of usable villains for a game set ten years in the future is wearing thin. With the Joker, out of the game and villains like Bane and Scarecrow tied almost entirely to Batman, the choices for Damien Wayne’s foes are few.

Still, some of the rumoured names for the big show villains have some promise - like The Flamingo and White Rabbit. If you are like me and are a casual Batman fan, you probably have no idea who those characters are, and their names don’t exactly instil a wave of confidence considering Batman’s previous foes.

However, when considering the backstories and the details behind these characters, there is a surprising amount of promise to be had.

Flamingo is a trained hitman who wields a variety of weaponry. His outfit and colour palette might be a bit ostentatious, but the Arkham games are known to tweak character to fit the nitty the gritty reality of the universe. White Rabbit is supposedly shown to be a more elderly character in the leak, and whilst this might jar a little with her character from the comic books, it could theoretically work.

Just a word of advice, WB Montreal: Ditch Flamingo’s pink motorcycle. As cool as it looks, it might just tamper with the darker, more creepy aesthetics of the universe.
