2. A Prequel Will Have To Establish The Characters Again
In the Arkham City sequel, the villains will carry over all of their feelings and experiences from the first two games, meaning Penguin will be looking for revenge against Batman, Hush will be carrying out his plan to ruin Bruce Wayne by posing as him, and Poison Ivy will be hell-bent on destroying Gotham. But in the prequel, these characters will be back to square one. Rocksteadys prequel will be showing Batmans first encounter with the Joker, meaning it obviously takes place before Asylum, which then means that many of the already established characters might not even exist yet.: Harvey Dent might not have been transformed into Two-Face and Killer Croc might not have been discovered. Whilst a prequel might show us how many of these characters came to be (it would be interesting if it showed how Harley became attached to the Joker, or if it showed Joker paralysing Barbra Gordon), there are so many characters that have already been introduced in the first two Arkham games, we as an audience just want to know what happens to them, because
