6. Ixnay on the Itan-Tay
Not to take a single thing away from the previous games, but we think
Titan has had its day in the Arkham series. It seems like the Titan enemies are included to give Batman a run for his money; to put a foe in our midst who could feasibly beat the guano out of the Bat, but why not go for finesse this time, instead of brawn. Heres what I mean: instead of an enemy that can pulverise Bats into mulch, why not more of a focus on an enemy that can simply
match Batmans finesse? Maybe they can counter our counters (leading to quick, CQC style confrontations); maybe they can use stealth too; maybe theyre every bit the predator as the Caped Crusader himself. Laying the Batdown on a behemoth thrice the size of the Dark Knight will always be satisfying of course, but we cant help but feel that the Titan fight sections may stagnate should they be heavily present in a third game.
