2. New Main Villains
With Mr. J out of the picture, this leaves the door open for other Batman villains to creep into the spotlight. As set up in the last game, the Bat-villain Hush is now a new player in the game. Since he knows Bruce Wayne to be Batman, he has surgically grafted his own face to now match Bruce Wayne's and is clearly ready to attempt to destroy our hero via impersonation. Clearly this will play a strong role in the storyline of the game. Other than Hush, I feel as though it's finally time to get a taste of what The Black Mask would do in the world of the Arkham games. He has always been mentioned, yet remains elusive. The character of Scarecrow also has unfinished business with Batman and Gotham as was revealed in the Easter Egg found in the cargo bay of a boat found in Gotham Harbor. Even though I want the Joker to be gone in this universe, it would be fun if he left messages to Batman before he died that Batman can use as clues Hannibal Lecter style.
