Batman Arkham: Court Of Owls - 9 New Villains That Need To Be Included

Often depicted as the evil, inverse of Batman, Prometheus is a skilled killer who has a personal vendetta against the law and Gotham's protector. After watching his parents die in a shootout with the police, this formidable foe swore to annihilate justice, travelling the world (much like the Dark Knight) to hone his skills and become a brutal fighter.

Not only does Prometheus have a deeply interesting backstory and motive, but his dark past mirrors Batman's almost exactly. If he was to be included in an Arkham sequel, his story could be one that questions Bruce's own ideologies and what he stands for, perhaps giving us some insight into the Dark Knight's deeper psyche.

That's without mentioning Prometheus and Batman's matched fighting ability; a clash between the two potentially making for a war of endurance that puts both the Dark Knight and the player's ability to the test. Much like Batman, he also has a varied array of gadgets, weapons and tools, including a computerised helmet that allows him to analyse the fighting style of any foe.

If given the opportunity, Prometheus has the opportunity to be one of the rare Batman villains that combines brain, brawn and strong story potential into one intimidating package.
