Batman: Arkham Insurgency - 10 Villains That Must Be Included

4. The Phantasm

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is commonly regarded as being the single greatest Bat-flick ever.

That counts for both live action and animated efforts by the way, and seeing as how Montreal made the effort to reference Andrea Beaumont with some tactically placed post cards in Origins, they may as well throw her into the mix come Insurgency, along with her (SPOILER!) shadowy alter-ego.

While any game featuring the Phantasm would really have to make the character the centre of attention, Insurgency could include the assassin in a mystery-themed side-mission, building up to a key role in a further sequel. Rocksteady attempted something similar with Hush in City, and while we didn't really get the pay-off from that tease in Knight, all Montreal have to do is plan ahead with the character in mind.

Or you know, they could just include Andrea and omit the Phantasm for now. Either way, any title that dares adapt that story deserves all the hype it gets. Particularly so, if it's even half as good as the film was.
