Following the fight with Bane, it's revealed that Batman had a smaller Batcave installed on Arkham Island in the event of an emergency. While it was a nice touch the developers put in the game, fans wanted the real deal. Alas, this was not granted in Arkham City since the Dark Knight had no need to retreat to his cave during the storyline. That being said, we weren't completely disappointed as RockSteady soon released a challenge map pack that came with the Batcave. While we aren't sure whether this is the final, definitive version, it certainly looked great as a prototype. The prequel Arkham Origins finally gave players access to the Bat's humble abode, albeit a premature version of it that lacked classic Batman tokens such as the giant penny and T-Rex model. Though it cannot be confirmed whether or not said paraphernalia will be in Arkham Knight's Batcave, the presence of the Lazy Susan is more than reassuring that RockSteady will do justice to this iconic setting (aside from the Lego games).
Red Stewart is big fan of the entertainment industry, with insights into film, television, and video games for starters. Despite growing up in the 21st century's era of modernization, he prefers many retro era ideas over the current trends found in many of today's media. Personally he's an introvert who loves reading as much as gaming.
