Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Biggest Rumours You Need To Know
8. Riots Will Be A Key Feature In The Game
Batman is used to taking down big groups of enemies at a time but using the next-gen power of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Rocksteady will be able to fit five times more goons on screen at once - that's an insane amount of baddies. That technology will also be used in another form though. The Scarecrow is the main villain of Arkham Knight and his Fear Gas will have a big role to play in the story. At some point, it's rumoured that he will unleash the Fear on the city of Gotham in a bid to destroy it. This will see huge groups of Gotham's citizens brawling, smashing stuff up and causing havoc. That creates a brand new challenge for Batman - saving the people he has sworn to protect, even when they're driven mad by fear. Of course, Bruce Wayne always has a trick up his sleeve, so expect a few anti-riot weapons to come into play over the course of the game. The Batmobile will contain an anti-riot suppressor (probably a non-lethal missile of sorts) but on foot, Batman will undoubtedly have some tools at his disposal too. Still, it's going to be exciting to see how Batman copes when the whole city is out to get him. We've seen Scarecrow bring Batman to his knees before - could he break him for good here?
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
