7. Doctor Hurt

Simon Hurt, aka Doctor Hurt, is actually an immortal ancestor of Thomas Wayne, a most evil scientist and could even be the Devil himself. He first appeared in a programme designed to create three replacement Batmen with the participation of the GCPD. He later realises Batman was powered by tragedy and sets about traumatising the three replacement in an effort to make them better crime-fighters. He later worked with the Black Glove, trying to destroy the Wayne name by stating Thomas Wayne survived the attack by Joe Chill. He even tries to claim he is actually Thomas himself, something Alfred debunks. After a presumed death in a helicopter explosion, he resurfaces in Mexico then Gotham sometime later. Working with the Joker he releases a drug into the city that would send everyone mad and allow him to make a public return as Thomas Wayne. Both Batman and his allies, Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne, foil this and he escapes to a graveyard where the Joker confronts him. He doses the Doctor with venom and buries him alive, meaning there is every chance he could resurface in Arkham Knight and look to convince everyone he is Thomas Wayne once again. Perhaps he could even team up with Hush, who of course now looks like Bruce Wayne, and try to ruin the Wayne family name once and for all.
