10. The Joker's Appearance

He's become a bit of a divisive element, the ol' Clown Prince himself - some people just want Joker to stay dead and buried, as with the Nolanverse/Heath Ledger version getting quite the amount of press coverage and critical praise, many fans want something altogether new from this new instalment. Still, even in the branching comics they couldn't leave him alone, having a Jigsaw-like precognitive plan sketched out that Batman got caught in post-mortem. It was a bit of a reach doubling as fan-service, and Rocksteady have repeatedly stated that Joker is definitely dead - like 100% kaput and pushing up the red lipstick'd daisies dead - however his presence is still felt throughout Gotham through his crew and more so Harley Quinn. Could that mean part of his posthumous plan includes a brief in-game TV appearance just to fool you for a second before Arkham Knight and Scarecrow take centre stage, potentially using some leftover line-reads from Mark Hamill? Here's hoping.
