10. Batman Simply 'Dies'
What many will see as being the more favourable option of potential deaths for the character, having Bruce retire at the end of Knight's events would give Gotham's protector the ending he truly deserves - especially after the ordeals he's been through in the Arkham series. The more aware of Bat-fans will already know that this has happened before, both in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns and in the animated universe of Batman Beyond. If Warner Bros. are feeling a tad apprehensive at the prospect of having no Bruce Wayne to use in future Arkham projects, this may be the only fate that's on the table. Despite this having already been covered in other Batman storylines, a unique Arkham twist would make it more than worthwhile - especially if it means the allies get a bigger focus in subsequent releases. Again, a greater focus on Batman's allies may signal a change in wardrobe for Gotham's favourite son - and besides, who doesn't want Bruce to have a happy ending?
