Rocksteady are so intent on selling this idea of the otherwise non-lethal Batman armouring up and shooting drones out the sky with a variety of high tech ordnance, that even the newest voice actor-reveal trailer has them dedicating a few minutes to randomly discussing why it's so awesome. Maybe you're fully onboard or maybe you're not - either way aside from having the Batmobile factor into Bruce getting from place to place, it's a strange inclusion on the face of it as a main gameplay addition. Did anyone really think vehicular combat was what was missing from the first three games? Sure Rocksteady need something brand new that hasn't been in the previous titles, but they appear to have thrown all their eggs into this very particular Bat-basket in the process. Time will if getting blowing the hell out of gangster-filled cars and unmanned drones is so anarchically enjoyable it makes you feel like a completely different character after a few hours, but either way hopefully this won't dominate the game too much and we can focus on breaking bones with ceiling lights and the environment instead.
