Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Things Fans Demand

6. No DLC For Any Important Story Scenes

So, in clarifying what the $40 Season Pass will get you, Rocksteady detailed a pretty huge variety of things from Batmobile tracks and races (what?) to Batgirl story missions, alongside other Batman-centric villain-chases comprised of characters from across the character's 75 year-long history. What this means in terms of the timeline is anyone's guess, as if the rumours of Bruce biting it at the close of this game are true, then they'd have to be prequels (thereby having the Origins problem of less gadgets and moves) - or of course if he DOES die at the close of the game you'll get standalone, thematically-absent levels essentially acting as dreamscapes. Needless to say people don't want the words 'story-related' and 'DLC' anywhere near each other, and although you can argue that anything REALLY important would never be set aside as DLC, you need only take a look at how pilfered for extra profit something like Mortal Kombat has become to suggest otherwise.
