Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Things It Must Learn From Origins

1. Incorporate The Wider DC Universe

One of the most expansive and beloved universes in all of pop-culture, allusions to the wider DC Universe have been present in all Arkham games so far, but it was Origins that really put it front and centre in a storyline. Deathstroke - more famed for being a Teen Titans villain than a Batman one - was one of the eight assassins sent to kill Batman on Christmas Eve, and there were even multiple references to Oliver Queen's company Queen Industries. City made distinct references to Keystone and Metropolis too, but didn't build the universe in the way in which Origins did. With there being much speculation surrounding what Rocksteady will do after they depart the Arkham series, chances are fans are going to dissect each and every last hint towards the wider DCU in Knight in the hope that it provides a clue as to what their next project will be. A perfect way of giving fans a definitive answer would be to incorporate the DCU directly into Knight's story, very much akin to Origins' approach. Those Lexcorp signs have to indicate a certain someone's presence... Do you think Origins can offer a learning experience for Knight? Or do you think Rocksteady have it in the bag already?
