Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Villains We Want To See
8. Hush
Another returnee from Arkham City, Hush appears only briefly after Batman closely links a series of grisly murders that involve people getting their faces cut off and reveals he's been secretly working on constructing a new face for himself. The catch - Hush's new face looks just like Bruce Wayne, Batman's alter ego. In his own words:
It took time, of course, to find the perfect donors. To graft on the flesh and, finally, to lose myself in order to create...this.
He's clearly as mad as a box of frogs, but Hush has a reason for hating Bruce Wayne and wanting to drag his name through the mud. The two grew up together, but while Bruce lived a life of luxury and love from his parents, Thomas Elliot - as he was known - suffered at the hands of an abusive father. He even cut the brakes of his parents car, killing his dad and severely injuring his mother who would be saved by Thomas Wayne, Bruce's father. Elliot then went on to descend into madness, gradually becoming more and more unhinged as he began to practice surgery and eventually became Hush. After leaving Batman in the lurch at the end of a sidequest in Arkham City with the reveal of his new Bruce Wayne face, Batman opens up a new casefile where he resolved to find out more about Thomas Elliot and Hush. Cue an appearance from this mysterious villain in Arkham Knight.
