Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Villains We Want To See

5. Jason Todd

Jason Todd, also known as the second Robin after Dick Grayson went on to become Nightwing and hung up his nice green pants, is a one-time ally to Batman who was killed at the hands of the Joker in Batman: Death in the Family. He was then resurrected and adopted a new mantle: The Red Hood. Those who know their comic books and Batman lore will know that the Red Hood is actually the first incarnation of the Joker before he was transformed into the lunatic we all know and love. This was even referenced in Arkham Origins where we saw a brief glimpse inside the Joker's mind. Although he was very much a hero in the past, Todd's resurrection sets him off as a crazy, gun-toting vigilante who forgoes the teachings of Batman in favour of violence. At this point he turns into a fully-fledged villain, going after Batman and his family before being defeated by Nightwing. Chronologically, Todd's inclusion in Arkham Knight makes sense. The Robin we saw in Arkham City is in fact Tim Drake, the third Robin, meaning the events that saw the death of Jason Todd have already taken place. Could the showing of the Red Hood in Origins foretell the future? Let's hope so!
