Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Villains We Want To See
6. Ventriloquist/Scarface
Referenced multiple times throughout both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Ventriloquist and his puppet Scarface are more than due for their official series debut in Arkham Knight. In fact, remember the section of Arkham City that was destroyed by an earthquake? In the Batman Cataclysm storyline, Ventriloquist and his puppet also caused an earthquake. Do we detect a link? If you're unfamiliar with the character, Ventriloquist is a talented puppet master who allegedly is controlled by a psychopathic puppet called Scarface. If you ever watched the insanely awesome Batman: The Animated Series, you'll have seen the Ventriloquist played as a cowardly, timid man, while Scarface forced him allegedly to act and carry out violent acts. Whether Scarface is truly alive or whether the Ventriloquist is merely a psychopathic schizophrenic is long up for debate. I'm confident that Rocksteady can deliver an interesting take on this character in Arkham Knight where it plays to both sides of the Ventriloquist's personality. Scarface at least should be in the game in some form - the Joker even makes reference to the fact that he has copies of the puppet in Arkham City!
