Batman Arkham Knight: 12 Big Questions Rocksteady Need To Answer
6. Can Scarecrow Outdo Himself?
Perhaps the true highlights of Batman Arkham Asylum were the sections involving Jonathan Crane, AKA The Scarecrow. Rocksteady's take on the character was deeply disturbing, giving the character needle-fingers with fear gas primed and ready inside, a sinister mask and exploring the darker side of Batman's fears in surreal fear-gas fueled segments that made you feel as if you'd actually broken the game. The question is, can Rocksteady bottle the same lightning that struck in Arkham Asylum and make Scarecrow just as cool in Arkham Knight? As I've previously said, there's plenty of new torture in Batman's life for the fear gas to exploit; I'm more than expecting the Joker to have an influence during fear-gas hallucination sequences. What also needs to be answered is just what is Scarecrow actually up to? Is he really the main villain, or is he working for someone behind the scenes such as the Arkham Knight?
