Batman Arkham Knight: 13 Ultimate Wishlist Features That Need To Happen
10. The Bat Signal Must Finally Call Us To Action
Probably the most glaring omission to the Arkham gameplay has been the use of the Bat-Signal. Now, granted, the Bat-Signal has been present in all the Arkham games, but it has yet to be used to its fullest potential, and also for what it was truly created for: calling out for Batman's help. Sure we have had the signal guide us from waypoint to waypoint these past 3 games, but it is truly time for a change when it comes to this iconic piece of Batman lore. With Rocksteady wrapping up its Batman run with Arkham Knight, they need to unleash the full power of the Bat-Signal, finally using it for its true purpose and doing away with the lazy aspect of the previous games but just having it present. Commissioner Gordon and the heroes and villains of the DC universe have all switched on the Bat-Signal when they need to find Batman, and this final Arkham game could get an extra boost of the unknown with the true implementation of the Bat-Signal. What better way to start side missions or move the narrative gameplay along than by activating the Bat-Signal, calling us to duty? The suggestion from the latest released images is that we actually will see the signal appear, but whether it will be integrated into side-missions and the story remains to be seen.
