9. Closure: A Return To Arkham Asylum

It would not be a fitting end to this now-legendary gaming series if we do not return to Arkham Asylum at some point in this final game. The Asylum is where it all began for Rocksteady and also for us, the collective gaming community. The original Arkham game kept us confined to the Asylum area, a haunting and bleak environment bathed in near-darkness...and madness. Rocksteady must take us home one final time before Arkham Knight comes to an end, and this saga draws to a close. Imagine a return, now in next-generation gaming, to Arkham Asylum where Batman is forced to interrogate a Killer Croc or a Bane or someone lesser-known for clues to the active criminal underworld currently operating in Gotham City. With a team-up that so far involves Harvey Two-Face, The Penguin, and Harley Quinn, it would be only natural for Batman to return to Arkham Asylum to gather more current intelligence on the problems facing Gotham in the year that has now passed since the events of Arkham City. A return to Arkham Asylum is in order and, and let's hope Rocksteady delivers an ending tribute to this place that started it all.
