Batman Arkham Knight: 13 Ultimate Wishlist Features That Need To Happen
8. Must Have: More Close Combat Scenarios
One of the things that Arkham Origins did exceptionally well was the close quarter combat scenes, especially between Batman and Deathstroke. These were scenes that built upon the fighting schemes of the previous games, and took them to an entirely new level. Sure, when you are in combat previously with a handful of bad guys, the previous games tend to zoom in and give you a nice up-close-and-personal every now and then. But certainly nothing really like Origins was able to provide: a more brutal portrayal of the beatdown being given out (or received) by the Bat. So with the release of Arkham Knight, we can hope that Rocksteady will go all out and take full advantage of the next-generation system's power and graphic upgrades, and incorporate some jaw-dropping fight scenes when in close-quarters combat. One of the things these games has been missing in the frequent but fluid gameplay/fight scenarios is BRUTALITY. And this is Rocksteady's chance to correct that omission, making full use of both the XBox ONE and Playstation 4 reconfigurations and updates, to fully embrace Batman's dark side and the fundamental pain that comes with crossing The Dark Knight.
