Batman: Arkham Knight - 8 Huge Flaws Nobody Wants To Admit

5. The Combat Will Be More Of The Same

Speaking of combat, yes the 'Batman combat' is fantastic - it's been everywhere from Sleeping Dogs to Shadow of Mordor and even indie-charmer Hand of Fate over the years - but just because of that, it is starting to wear a little thin. That's not to mention the increased difficulty through Challenge Rooms or the main game either, where constantly rotating the camera to keep track of everyone only to get stuck on a combo-losing auto-shock or unblockable attack just isn't any fun. Sadly Knight looks to be more of the same, with even the latest Gotham Is Mine trailer showing Batman's glide-tackle animating in exactly the same way as before. Things need a major shakeup if we're going to continue playing past the main campaign to mop up the rest of the city, and although this will be serviceable enough and the new slow-motion takedowns look ace, it's not looking like the major step up fans need.
