9. Use Mr. Freeze's Blast Grenades

A new addition in Arkham City, unless you paid particular attention to your surroundings whilst venturing through Panessa Studios (and why would you? Some of the most pace-filled story beats happen down there) you can completely miss this optional gadget. However, simply journey to Panessa at any point following the first story section (it's the place where you first play as Jim Gordon) and look to the left as you enter the main chamber. The freeze grenades are sitting next to the leftmost cell, and upon picking them up act exactly the same as in City. You'll need them to plug the gas mains around Gotham for one of Riddler's trophies, but best of all you can still instantly freeze any thugs in your way, finishing them with an especially crushing takedown just for kicks.
