6. Other-Worldly Easter Eggs
You'd think with this being a prequel to Arkham Asylum that Montréal's sights would be firmly set to Batman and nothing else, but you'd be so wrong. Included within Knight's DLC is a hint to one of the Justice League's largest foes - the one and only Starro. Apparently a freak attraction to the once budding fairground, Starro is now confined to a water unit, though his psychic whisperings prove to be just as disconcerting as the dank environment the being is constrained in. It was a great little nod to the wider Arkhamverse as we know it, and only reinforces the belief that the series is moving beyond Gotham in the near future. Perhaps what's most interesting about Starro's appearance is that this may in fact be his first appearance on earth, as a poster located outside the main rig points to a 'freakshow' experience, with Starro's host being the unfortunate centre of attention.
Here's hoping Starro is set for another video game appearance in the near future -
