Batman: Arkham Knight DLC - 7 Reasons The Season Pass Is A Total Failure

$40 for some character skins?! Come the f**k on.

Did you know Batman: Arkham Knight is STILL not available on PC? Way back in June it emerged the console versions had been prioritised by developers Rocksteady (for whatever reason, I don't know), so come release you had a fairly butter-smooth experience on both PS4 and Xbox One, whilst the PC release was a genuinely unplayable mess for the majority of players. It resulted in Warner Bros. pulling the game from Steam to make amends, yet three whole months later checking the same sales page returns a prompt that proves it's still not ready. That's simply not good enough, and it's an attitude that ties directly into WB/Rocksteady's rollout of the season pass content. Bat-fans have been thoroughly taken for a ride with this, as many put their faith in the reputable developer/publisher combo, coughing up the very hefty £32.99/$39.99 initial asking price, hoping it would be justified in the long run. To their credit, following the announcement of this (rather ludicrous) 'buy now, play later' approach, Rocksteady did break down what you'd be receiving, albeit in fairly vague terms. "New Story Missions" here, "Extra Riddler Raceways" there - even a tantalising look into the 'Season of Infamy' pack, where it looked like none-other than Mr. Freeze was going to make a return. Where are we with all that though? Well, you can get a 1989 Michael Keaton skin, a half-hour Batgirl mission or... some more skins. It's pitiful, and leads me to really take a step back and look at this thing with a mix of opinion and objectivity. Fans are suitably pissed, and they have every right to be. Note: Spoilers will be discussed in reference to a certain returning character and the Arkham Knight's identity.
